For Sung Eucharists, St James' Thornbury uses the musical setting A New People's Mass by Dom A. Gregory Murray.

We sing hymns from Together in Song. The psalm is canted at each Sung Eucharist, led by a soloist with congregational response. The settings are mainly from New Psalms for Common Worship, edited by Colin Mawby.

Lay people read the lessons at the Eucharist, and lead the intercessions.
