Welcome to St James Anglican Church Thornbury in the Parish of South Darebin. Whatever your gender, race, colour, sexual orientation, social status or any other distinction, you are welcome at St James. We are an open, progressive, and inclusive community that reflects and acknowledges human diversity. We are a church that values worship, scripture and a reflective and thoughtful approach to faith and life’s journey. We seek to be a community of love embracing the values of justice and love for all. We acknowledge the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nation, traditional owners of the land on which we meet. |
This The Eucharist is celebrated every Sunday at St James at 9:15 am. This Sunday (2nd July) we welcome our new locum vicar the Rev. David Moore.
